While waiting for the blossom to open, I prepared the growing platform. Dug down a few inches in a 5 foot circle. Base of weed fabric, then a few inches of sand, then two layers of mill fabric. The weed fabric is something new. Hopefully it will make it easier to dig out the sand at the end of the season.
