Last night moved from paper towel to soil all my pumpkin and watermelon seeds. For pumpkins 2 out 3 1109's showed root and the 2118 Jutras showed root. For my company competition..23 of 25(356 Borgers,parent of 1109) sprouted. I kind of regret giving away almost all of my 1109 seeds. I have only 4 left. Trying to decide if I will really try to grow it out again this year. I need 50,000 tomato seeds by next spring. If I only grow one pumpkin/squash it will probably be the 1109. I am probably the only grower in the nation that would chose the 1109 over the 2118. Give it a week..i will have made a decision.
