I passed the first hurdle in growing giant bell peppers. I started them in the same way I start my tomato plants. When they were soaking I started to read about them. It seems that peppers can be difficult to start. All the sources I found said germination between 7 and 21 days. The roots showed this morning..hmmm, that was 4 1/2 days to germinate. I am going to take this as a good sign. Tonight one seed planted in soil and one seed set in a hydro starter system. Should I read more or just pretend they are a funny shaped tomato plant?
