I have culled down to 48 plants. All but four are set. It is getting harder to choose plants to pull. I think all 48 have a chance for 3 pounds or better. Really difficult to decide which plant has the best chance for the fall weighoff. Is it going to be an earlier set with 3 weeks of refrigeration or one of the last sets. This 6.88 MacCoy may be it. I messed up the first truss mega so it gave me a another chance and tossed a nice second truss mega. Should be a verified set by the end of the weekend. Based on days to weighoff and slower maturity in September it might be able to stay on vine until the day of weighoff.
