I have diagnosed my backyard lawn as having a rare turf disease... pumpkinitis obsessiveness. What started as an innocent planting 6 years ago in 300 sq ft has slowly spread. Not only into my yard but also into my neighbors. The invasive curcubit has now taken over 2000 sq ft of beautiful grass. Next year a shed and two ash trees might fall victim to this powerful invasive species. My wife has researched to find a cure, but as now there is none known...wish me luck.
