Started soaking the next round of hydro plants in reverse osmosis water this afternoon. Going to try something different with these. Since I am planning on eventually expanding into aeroponics i am going to start these in rockwool cubes. The nutrient solution in my main system is too strong for a young seedling so i am assembling a mini-hydro system. It will hold 6 three inch net pots. I am planning to use the beer wort coil method to keep the baby hydro solution cool. Nutrient recirculation is going to be full time to begin with but will eventually add a short cycle timer to it. For aeroponics will need an on time of only a few seconds followed by minutes of off. It may be a little obsessive but at least I am not bored.
