I am getting more clueless. When the hydro nutrient solution was at a ph of 6.8 there was what appeared to be a white solidified powder floating in the solution. The addition of ph down which is mainly phosphoric acid has brought the ph down to 6.2 but also the floating white particles have disappeared. I might have to be nice to my wife..she does have a degree in chemistry to tell me what is happening.
