Weekly update on the 6.23 Megazac-The plant appears to be growing fine. No major issues but some of the lower leaves are showing some dryness. The first flower is forming. With close inspection with my magnifying glass I can tell it is going to be a mega. The vine feeding the flower is getting bigger. In the next week will know if the ribbon to the flower is genetic. The light for this plant is set for a PAR reading of 800 uMols 15 hours per day for a DLI number of 43. Its color spectrum is slightly tilted towards red. It is also now under UV-B light at a rate of 50 uW/cm2 for 8 hours per day. Temperature is set at 88 degrees during the day and 72 at night. My relative humidity is still low even though I have a humidifier running 24 hours per day. It is 40-45 day and climbs to about 60 at night. CO2 meter shows this plant is in about 1100-1200 ppm. I would like that to be slightly higher but would have to enclose the room to bring it up. Still searching for things that can be changed to grow bigger.
