Yes Master P giant carrots are fun to grow. The outdoor carrot that was transplanted from a six inch diameter tube seems to like its new home. I have spent the morning rearranging the pots and lights. I will have two carrots indoors, both in 65 gallon pots. Each will be under a 600 watt metal halide light. I have moved the tomatoes over to LED since same start date tomatoes are throwing mega-blossoms under LED light and the ones under MH light were not. Since i do not want the carrots to flower this seems to be the best match. I am very curious to see how long I can keep this May germinated carrot from going to seed. My second large pot still has a breeder tomato in it but before January I am going to try to set it up for next year utilizing what I learned last year. I am currently considering a multi-depth drip irrigation system with a water chiller for keeping the soil cool.
