Harvest time. This pumpkin probably would have never gotten this big with out the daily checks on the stump and main vine. Way back in July when the humidity started, I noticed some light rot starting on the stump. All it took was a light scraping with my pocket knife, and I put a fan on it. It dried up quickly, and gave me no more issues the rest of the season. Had i not caught that, things would most likely ended differently.
