Sun starting to get on the 1623.5 plant this morning and lucky to still have several vines on either side of pumpkin to grow out a little more. In complete contrast, the 1495 Stelts plant completely stopped growing its main vine, about 10 feet past the fruit, and did not send off any secondaries...so was eliminated.
We've got nice weather again for an extended period, but its cooler at night now, and getting darker earlier so I'm expecting a short peak growth period and the pumpkins to level off again.
