Persistence-25DAP-taping 227 ott=265 pounds. Averaging 28.8 pounds for the past 5 days. At this rate she will be bigger than her momma by day 28. Her momma was grown in 150 sq ft, no vine burying, no weeding, hail damage, august pollination, svb damage, watering by rain and the random sprinkling from her primary caretaker..a golden retriever. Persistence has 800 sq feet, drip irrigation with fertilizer injection and best care of the goldens owner. I think the dog is proud that he carried these genetics forward a year. If persistence hadnt lost weeks of pollination time and 1/3 of her early growth due to herbicide damage she could be really awesome. Side note- out of the seeds from the 356,persistence is grown from the only seed that did not float from about 400.
