The plants are doing fine and we have a new method for improving the roots. I'm not sure if you can see but this white polythene is covered in small holes and we used white instead of black to reflect the light. We what to keep the moisture in the top few inches of the soil to encourage those lovely roots that we all find under our walk boards. It's mega important that we have the holes to allow gas exchange.
