This is the characteristics of the melons that are growing on my 117.5 plant (297 Kent X 291 Kent). I just cringe when I find them and cull them. This particular one was open pollinated on the 3rd and is 7" in length, Huge stem and very Long perfect shape. Even with the large melon growing they just excel in growth.
