Pollinated a new kin on the 739 Harmon UOW'13 X 1873 Steil this morning the 30th of June. Have got Tomatoes set on the (3), 7.10 Foss Plants the (2), 4.77 Hunt and the (1), 4.2 Finders. The Finders Mater looks like an Unstopable Beast I must say. Circ on the 783 UOW (B)Plant is 38"@ 12dap, Circ on the 1486 Jarvis is 34" @ 9dap, Circ on the 783UOW (A)Plant is 59" @ 17dap and Circ on the 1117.5 Steil is 22" @9dap. All early morning reading. 783UOW (D) Pant aborted @22" circ, culled and should have another kin set on it in a weeks time. Trying to nail down the Illinois record on Biggest Tomato. It may be Shazzys @ 3.95 lbs, if anyone knows better please let me know. The 7.10 Foss is still growing nicely even in the soupy rain. I built a small shelter for it to keep back the constant deluge. Sprayed all Giant Swedes/Rutabages with fruit tree spray, Its got Captan and works on those pesky worms.
