Lookin under Mater Tomater this mornin. Got both tomatoes sitting on so called slings so there is no presure cutting of potential energy. This is the way I am growing this year as to put Zero stress on the stem and incoming rocket fuel,lol. This one is just at 3 lbs now. Not bad for growing in very little light in an empty south facing bedroom,lol. The root system is doing very well in growing out all along the 36" of buried main vine. Getting to be a very big root mass. This tomato still shows signs of alot of growing to do as well as Mater #2 The worms are loving the bread, cornmeal and coffee grounds & the Mater Plants are loving....well I think you know what their loving.
