I posted a question in the Other Gardening General Discussion forum about my sweet corn having tassles and no husks at all, corn is aprox 6' and was given 21-0-0 ammonium sulphate when it was knee high.
The rain has been around one inch per week and no other ferts were given, where the ear should be looks like what I would call a sucker.
I haven't grown corn in many years but this looks wrong to me, let me know what you think, here is just a plot picture
