I didn't put in a field pumpkin this year. Instead, I used the extra corner of the farm patch to try my 736 Makarchuk est from last year. It's a 1081 Crews x 604 Makarchuk squash. Alex grew the 604 last year and it grew really well until the July hail storm. It produced a pumpkin for him so we'll see what happens.
