Its hard to see in the photo but last fall I tilled out a ditch that's about 80 feet long, it goes down two sides of the north plot to drain water away faster, I had standing water for 2 weeks in the corner of my north plot last year , its always been a wet area of the yard.
To wet in the spring and dust through the summer, these recent rains got my new grass to sprout well and maybe no more watering from me
