Back during the first week of Nov I hauled in 11 loads of leaves and 10 trailers of manure, I spread out 4" of leaves and 2" of manure onto 2 plots and the rest was piled for compost.
This was my first serious try at composting and my first success , it was turned twice be for Christmas and temps were over 110F twice, the snowblade on the mower worked fairly good , and this pile will be for my 2015 plot
The leaves come from 9 miles away and the manure from 1/8 mile, you can see my new water tote in the background, trying to drain the last of some sticky feed grade vitamin E from the tank. I may have to flush it with hot water this spring .
