Lost all of my first plantings due to frost and started this plant June 1st..pollinated july 21st and grew on 3rd secondary. Chicken Of The Woods..wild mushroom..worth about $10-15 a lb. about 20 lbs or more there. In my 60 plus years this is the 3rd highest I've ever seen the river. This is normally a spring event. The dam is shut down on the Sacandaga to prevent more flooding. They will need to open it real soon.
