Domingo (5.75 Porkchop 2014) C, now has blossom end rot. Only the domingos have been struck with BER and 2 of 2 fruits have it... This one got hit on DAP 7, a couple days after all growth was terminated. The rot looks pretty deep too...pretty pissed off about it

Brag (4.905 Leadbeatter 2012) are so far a disappointment. Rarely puts out megablooms (occasional doubles) and the singles that are set are growing very slowly.

Big Beryl. Growth has been slow for the past 4-5 days, I'm guessing it weighs a pound at the moment.

Big Zac (2 McCauley) DAP 16 pretty slow growth but I like the look of it.

Big Mac. Very flat and very ribbed fruits. I'm growing this one for eating.

Mater update...pretty single which isn't very large on Brag (4.905 Leadbeatter 2012) A.

3+ Bizos grown for eating. It's fruit shape is very inconsistent from heart to pear to regular beefsteak shape. Guessing this one is one and a half pounds.

Very good looking one on Delicious. This plant has been hit very hard with blight (blight has struck very very early this year compared to other years). Guessing it weighs close to one and a half pounds right now.

A bit over 25 inches now. When the two segments are measured separately (sunsure whether this is one tomato or two...) there is a 21.5"CC piece and a 17"Cc piece.

Bottom of one segment...pretty gnarly...there was a strange split/hole that goes through the whole tomato (light in the middle of the tomato is the other side). It suddenly appeared a while ago. Also a slight blush appearing near a part of the blossom end rot. It appeared midday on a 44C degree (111F) day but hasn't spread since the temperature became 16C (61F) within 24 hours from being 44C. The sudden change caused all plants that had all growth terminated get psychological leaf curl.

Correction from the previous post...I meant physiological leaf curl not psychological...

Horrible picture but its CC is 26".

Weighed the Domingo on Sunday. 2.240kg/4.938lb so it's heavier than the Australian record but is DMG (mould and blossom end rot). I'll upload some pics later in the week.

It is one tomato. Hard to see but a very small area of flesh was exposed when I split the two segments.

Got one More tomato that may make it over 4lbs. It estimates about 0.05lbs off 4 pound right now. It's about 40% ripe.

Saturday, February 13 View Page
Here is the picture today. Ripened really quickly so I'll pick it tomorrow morning.

Felt pretty light when I picked it. 1.634kg/3.6lbs. It was grown on a diseased and mostly dead plant. It is from Big Zac (2 McCauley 2015)(8.41 McCoy 2014). Big thank you to Phillip for these seeds.

Started 13 more tomato plants yesterday. The previous plants arent doing well because of diseases and whiteflies.

Here is a Domingo 5.75 Porkchop cutting I'm growing. Started two last week but they died since I left them outside in the cold. Really hoping to grow a couple 5.75s this spring again.

Here's a megamarv tomato plant. It's doing well but nighttime temperatures are too low for any chance of fruit set.

I can't believe my plants are looking this good despite how wet it has been and this it is winter.

Pulled out most of my winter tomato plants because they're not setting fruit.

Nearly all Domingo megablooms are deformed for me. Not sure what the problem is or maybe it is the variety?

Thursday, July 7 View Page
Here is the Domingo 5.75 Porkchop plant back that survived from last season. It's a mess since I never bother supporting it properly but it is still growing despite the weather and being diseased. The previous cuttings I took from this plant all failed to root and died so I started some more yesterday.

Here are some of the seeds which I will grow next season. Very excited about these.

A lot of 'deformed' or not fully fused megablooms this year on nearly all plants. Not really sure what's causing this but doesn't seem like a good sign. The top left and top right are the same flower, only split apart.

Here's the only plant with a noteworthy megabloom.

Nice megabloom off a slammer plant.

Big Zac (5.80 Osmala 2013) planted late but probably the best looking plant. It has a big megabloom but it's slightly deformed.

Possibly a ribbon vine megabloom on a Hungarian heart plant.

Spotted a possibly very nice megabloom developing on this Domingo(4.94 Lai 2016). This years plants are not the best looking but hopefully they'll produce something big.
