New season underway, but also new house closed on April 30th and I decided I couldn't take a year off. With limited funds expectations are low but making poop connections already and they deliver :) Here is the star of the show thus far the 359 Foss.

1319 bouch X 1317 clementz. This 1319 wasn't weighed Frank had this in his boat patch and she was red, when he told me he pollinated it with tiny, which his was the most perfect pumpking I ever saw, I wanted to take a shot at this one.

No early pollinations for me this year, I'm guessing first week of July I'll see most of them. Here's the First 705 Debacco.

Second 705, little behind the first, set it back during Turkey season when the houses were left on a little too long, been running great last week or so.

359 Foss still the best plant so far.

Trying watermelons this year in hopes of getting enough to make some wine.

And the plan was two field pumpkin plants but some squirrels put an end to that twice, so this 175 hunt will have 400 sqft to swim in.

705 Debacco X 359 Foss, should be a fun cross if she takes, only had one flower available. About 11 1/2 feet out. Rain is pretty bad this year.

3 lobes and not that pretty..... Anyways, 359 Foss X 705 Debacco. I should note this is the exact reverse cross as the one above. The 1st 705 plant is doing much better then the second. If this one keeps its my pony, getting way late in the game already.

Put together a nice bouquet of 907 young (1048 X self) flowers together in the sun room to stick in the fridge. Big Bday pollination tommorow for me on the 1319 Bouch X 1317 Clements plant. This is the first time I've cut flowers the night before and put them in the fridge so I figured 10 is the magic number to make it stick.
