1790 Wallace beat out my 1449 Traylor which by the way was 2nd biggest in patch. The 1790 was just vigorous since day 1 and is over 8 ft with 3 secondaries on each side. All plants are about 1 month old. This plant is 3 ft bigger then any other plant I have and is the biggest I have had at this age.

Patch filling in. Took a beating with hail a month back so middle of plants are dying back. Two blossom nubs have rotted off. Let's hope we can get one to the scales this year. Pumpkins are picking up the pace! Cuke beetles have been bad here and it has been tough to control them!

1666 Steil slowing way down. In the 700 club this week.

2230 is taking off. Also in the 700 pound range. But its height is creating a stem split. This is 8 days younger then the 1666 and has passed it.

1790 is also slowing down. It did not like heat last week. This one is in the 800 pound range.

1666 Steil. Vine rot no stump. Need to remove lots of vines. No soil on main don't know how that happened. Pumpkin is only doing 9 per day still in the 700 pound range.

2230 Wallace. Lost 2 sides on this plant to rot and now main is iffy. 900 pound range.

Lost the 1666 Steil to bottom rot. I had mouse bait out for last month. But found a vole next to back of kin today. Son stepped on it when we were ripping out plant today. Vole was eating under the kin. This was going to be my Woodstock entry. Kin was uniform throughout and about 900lbs.

1326 Traylor 2016. Feels good to weigh one after a 7 year drought. 1st place Woodstock. 6.8 heavy. 2230 X 1790.

Should be noted that the 1326 Traylor 2016 was grown on a secondary vine and was still doing 7.35 lb/day when cut.

1458.5 Traylor 2016, 3rd place at Durham. Finally beat my PB but there's still work to do on continuing plant health later in the season.

Here is soft spot on my 1458.5 that disqualified me from any Durham Fair prize money. It still counted as a gpc entry since it was less than 3 inches and .5 deep.
