2551X1865 DAP 17
The weather in Philly this season has been brutal. Had 5 pumpkins abort after pollination even with fans and ice under styrofoam cooler. Temps over 100, crazy storms. She is finally moving. Deadheaded main, stopped burying vines a couple weeks ago. 25 Ft down on main. Obnoxiously long stem.. that's what she said.

DAP 41 on 1726x2551. She started hitting the 50lb p/d mark. Nutrients were locked up for first couple of months but finally corrected. She is starting to look like her Father which would be fabulous. Never expected to grow our own seed in second season but she came out super aggressive. I'll post a pic of Dad from last season.

2243 X 1908 from 2024. This pumpkin was taken to the kids schools and back home for Alex's 10th birthday. Very waxy and perfect skin. Most likely due to the fact she was 70 days old. Pollinated 7/26/24.

DAP 67- Just got back from a 7 day family vacation. I know blasphemy. The pumpkin did not have separation anxiety and did not slow down. She did not care that someone else fed her for 7 days.

Continues to grow straight up. Based on current movement, she should hit 500 OTT. Dealing with some PW but plenty of plant to get her to the end.

We love this 2551X1865! The plant has been battered all season and has probably 5 good leaves on it (very generous estimation)but keeps chugging along.

1983 Meehan. VA state Fair Record. If it was a perfect season we would be upset but for 2nd year growers, extremely proud. Know exactly what we can improve on. Congrats to Steve Hall(hermatite homestead on YouTube)who also broke the record with an amazing pumpkin. Best part is we reached new growers, made new friends, and can rest knowing we gave it our best.
