I will no longer be posting real photos of myself as this AI stuff is .well. if you don't see what's coming down the pipe, ooof.it's gonna get into every aspect of our life. Our homes, computers, phone. So if there's any footage of me chasing the ol lady around the patch in my skivies that pops up online.that's definitely fake news.

I'm normally a "if life gives you lemons, make lemonade " type of guy..sometimes even a "if you get some extra sour ones, make a pie" type of guy. But man, sometimes life just stomps on yer throat, knocks yer dick off with a seven iron and tries to fix the divot with a cheese grater. That's when I know it's time to get back to something that brings me joy. My gardens. Here's The yucca with a double bloom.

We've been trying to correct soil issues for the last two years so not a whole lot of fun veggies being grown. Here's some of those Chi-com forget me nots. They seem invasive, but if ya need more of that blue color, this one lasts right til the snow falls.

We made friends with a pair of mourning doves that were born right outside our kitchen door.AND the missus had to admit that my "stupid" idea of whistling in their face every morning when they first hatched was actually a good idea.they brought babies back this year.

One of my favorite stories I'll ever tell.this is Wendy.she's a young downy woodpecker that got caught in the greenhouse. Tried to get her to fly out for a half hour. Long story short, the bird had to trust me and fly toward me when I had the end of the greenhouse open. She did.. and landed on the step ladder i had set up, right outside the doors. I became her hero that day. I could tell by the look in her eyes.
