Wednesday, December 3 View Page One of my favorite stories I'll ever tell.this is Wendy.she's a young downy woodpecker that got caught in the greenhouse. Tried to get her to fly out for a half hour. Long story short, the bird had to trust me and fly toward me when I had the end of the greenhouse open. She did.. and landed on the step ladder i had set up, right outside the doors.
